Congratulations to Timberland's outstanding artists, many of whom are in shows right now.
Four students entered their work into Juried Exhibition: Young Artists Showcase at the St. Louis Artist Guild. Congratulations to Abby Westhoff, Autumn Oellermann, Ari Charitonenko and Tyler Brendenberg for putting their work out there to be in a juried show. A super special congratulations to Tyler Bredenberg and Ari Charitonenko for having their work accepted.
On Sunday, March 5, from 2:00-4:00 pm, our Advanced Studio and AP Studio students have the opening reception for their own FEATURED EXHIBITION at the Crossroads Arts Council in the East Gallery with the theme: Imagine What the World has Yet to See. This is concurrent with the Spanning the Generations High School Exhibition. Several additional Timberland artists will have their work on display in that show. (310 W. Pearce Blvd., Wentzville, MO 63385 (former City Hall) lower level: Gallery Hours: Thursday – Sunday 11:00 am-3:00 pm). Imagine What the World has Yet to See featured artists: Tyler Bredenberg, Ari Charitonenko, Ethan Dunnagan, Preston Garrett, Anna Gerstenecker, Jay Henke, Meghan McConnell, Autumn Oellermann, Molly Quinn, Jorja Spivey, and Abby Westhoff.
Congratulations to Marcy Felber, Carter Klaesner, and Abby Westhoff for their work in the 29th Annual High School Art Exhibition at Florissant Valley. The closing reception was February 16 and Carter Klaesner won 2nd place, a drawing kit and a $500 scholarship to Flo Valley. There was outstanding representation for the arts at Timberland and the dedication these students have to their craft.
