WSD Names Jason Moore as Director of Alternative Learning

The Wentzville School District Board of Education approved the hiring of Jason Moore as the Director of Alternative Learning, effective July 1, 2022.
Moore is in his fourth year as an assistant principal for the WSD. Prior to joining North Point High School this year as an assistant principal, he served as an assistant principal at Holt High School. He was a social studies teacher and a coach for sixteen years at Holt High School, and he was inducted into the Missouri Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2021.
“I am extremely honored to be named the Director of Alternative Learning,” Moore said. “I have seen the amazing work that the staff at Pearce Hall is already doing for our kids. I cannot wait to continue this work with our team to provide a supportive and academically challenging environment that recognizes the needs of every student.”
Moore is pursuing his Educational Specialist degree from Northwest Missouri State University. He holds a master’s degree in secondary administration from William Woods University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Missouri - Columbia.
He is married and has two children in the Wentzville School District.
