We appreciate your interest in speaking during the public comment period at the Wentzville School District Board of Education meeting. Our public comment period is held at the beginning of every regularly scheduled Board meeting. Time allocation will allow for no more that 10 participants, speaking a maximum of 3 minutes per speaker. During these 30 minutes, all participants must adhere to Board Policy 0412.  

The electronic sign-up sheet for the Public Comment Period will be available up to 24 hours before the meeting and will close 30 minutes before the start of the open session meeting. The electronic sign-up sheet for the Public Comment Period can be found on the District website.
 
How to sign up: 
Any person who wishes to speak during the Board of Education’s Public Comment Period must complete the electronic Public Comment Request Form. If you sign up after 10 slots have been filled, you will be added to the waitlist. All electronic Public Comment Request Forms will be automatically timestamped, and the Board President will call speakers forward in the order they signed up. 

For patrons who do not have internet access, they will be able to register under the same guidelines and restrictions either at the Administration Center (280 Interstate Drive) or at the location of the board meeting. Access to signup will be granted at the Administration Center during normal business hours, no more than 24 hours prior to the beginning of the open session. If completing the electronic sign-up at the location of the board meeting, a device will be available one hour prior to open session. 
 
Electronic Public Comment Request Form Guidelines and Restrictions - Patrons may only sign up themselves to speak during the public comment portion of the Board meeting. Patrons may not substitute for a speaker who is not in attendance. Patrons may not give their time to another individual during their remarks. Patrons may not sign up more than once per board meeting.
