Donna Davis Named MASN Outstanding Service by a School Nurse Award Honorable Mention

Donna Davis, RN, BSN, NCSN, Timberland High School nurse, was selected as an honorable mention recipient of the Missouri Association of School Nurses’ (MASN) Outstanding Service of a School Nurse award. She was celebrated at an award ceremony on March 29, 2025, at the University Plaza Hotel in Springfield, Mo.

As the Secondary Nurse Chair in the Wentzville School District, the driving force behind establishing Project ADAM in the WSD, and a Certified CPR/BLS Instructor for the American Red Cross and American Heart Association, she has had a positive district-wide impact. 

“Donna is passionate about the service she provides to others and is committed to continuing to grow as a learner and leader within the Health Services Department,” said Dr. Laura Rowe-Holler, Executive Director of Student Services. “She has been instrumental in facilitating the roll-out of Project ADAM within all district buildings and is responsible for the strides that the WSD has made to be a heart-safe district.  We are a safer and healthier district because of Donna, which is one of the many reasons why she is deserving of this incredible honor!”

MASN has a standing annual tradition to recognize school nurses who make an outstanding contribution to their school, community, district, or state organization. 

The MASN is an affiliate of the National Association of School Nurses. MASN has over 400 active members from all areas of the state. The organization provides leadership and promotes professional growth to advance the practice of school nursing.
