Priscilla Frost, director of secondary programming in the Wentzville School District, was honored with a 2024 Outstanding Instructional Leadership award from the Missouri Learning Forward professional learning association at the 2024 Show-Me Professional Learning Conference on March 10 in Osage Beach, Mo. 

“At the heart of Priscilla's leadership is a commitment to the district’s vision, mission, and goals,” said her nominator. “She goes beyond rhetoric, making sure that these guiding principles are not mere statements but driving forces behind every decision. This approach has fostered a culture where the vision shapes the daily operations and decision-making processes of the Wentzville School District.”

The Executive Board of Missouri Learning Forward selected Frost for this honor using an extensive process that consisted of educators from across Missouri. The Purpose of Missouri Learning Forward is to leverage the power of professional learning to enhance educational innovation. 

Missouri Learning Forward hosted its awards reception in March to celebrate the outstanding commitment to professional learning and student achievement exhibited by the award honorees.
