WSD 2017-18 Assessment Plan
The Wentzville R-IV School District utilizes several different assessments in order to better guide and individualize instruction for students. The 2017-18 Assessment Plan outlines a description and purpose of each assessment tool used by teachers and staff. If you have any questions regarding assessments please feel free to contact Dr. Schwierjohn at firstname.lastname@example.org.
ACT TEST UPDATE
Missouri has announced it will not be funding the 11th grade state-wide administration of the ACT test in 2018, following a reduction of $4 million in the state assessment budget. The Wentzville School District will therefore not be providing a free ACT test day for 11th graders in the spring of 2018. ACT testing is not a state or federal requirement, although students are encouraged to take it based on their post-high school plans.
The national 2017-18 ACT test dates and fees can be found directly on the www.ACT.org website. There are ACT test fee waivers available for students in need. Families can learn more about the ACT testing fee waivers by contacting their school guidance counselor for additional information.
Elementary Report Cards
The Wentzville R-IV School District will continue to implement a K-5 report card which includes specific student learning objectives. The goal of reporting on specific objectives is to better inform parents of overarching goals and skills being learned and the progress made by students throughout the school year. Below are the 2017-18 Kindergarten-5th grade Report Cards.
