2025 Jumpstart Program

Jumpstart registration will begin in March.
Jumpstart is an invitation-only program for incoming kindergarten students that focuses on kindergarten readiness. This opportunity will help support your child's transition into kindergarten by providing an experience in an elementary classroom setting.
Invitations are based on DIAL screening and PAT recommendations. Enrollment details will be emailed directly to parents.

- Week One - Tuesday-Friday, June 3-6
- Week Two - Monday-Thursday, June 9-12
- Week Three - Monday-Thursday, June 16-19
- Week Four - Monday-Thursday, June 23-26
- Session Hours: 8:00 am-12:00 pm

Meal Options
- Breakfast will be available for purchase at the elementary buildings only.
*Free or reduced-price applications are available at any school office or on the Child Nutrition website. - Meal Prices: Breakfast K-5 - $2.00
- Menus will be posted on the Child Nutrition webpage.
- Snack will be provided each day at no charge.

Transportation, Chautauqua, ESY, & Immunizations
- Transportation is not provided.
- The Chautauqua Program will be offered at an additional charge of $150.00 per week from noon-5 p.m., M-TH, at the two summer school host sites (Crossroads & Lakeview). More information will be provided after enrollment.
- Extended School Year (ESY) is at Wabash, contact Student Services with any questions.
- Immunizations - Students entering Kindergarten need their updated immunizations prior to attending. New incoming kindergartners will need to show proof of updated immunizations and must have their 4-year-old immunizations which can include: DTAP, MMR, Varicella, Hep B, IPV. In some cases, there may be additional immunization requirements, if the child is not up to date.

Summer School Enrollment Guide, Current WSD Students
Step 1- To access the enrollment form (e-Form), the residential parent must log in to the Focus School Software Portal. Summer School e-Forms are available for all students.
Step 2- Click on "Required e-Forms have not been submitted" (yellow bar) to access forms by student name.
Step 3- Select the summer school program to complete enrollment

*Virtual courses require an “AM” & “PM” selection
*Credit recovery courses are all in-personStep 4- To confirm and view summer school enrollment in the Focus School Software Portal. Select "e-Forms" from the Focus Portal menu. Select the "Show completed e-Forms" box at the bottom of the screen.

Summer School Enrollment Guide, NEW to WSD
Step 1 - Complete WSD Enrollment
Prior to enrolling in any summer program, New to WSD enrollments must first be completed by contacting the WSD school of assignment, according to their address within the WSD boundaries.Questions? Visit Enrollment for New Students.
Please allow 2 weeks for the enrollment process to be completed. Enrollments are only processed at the attending school, not through the district office.
