The Wentzville School District Foundation is an independent, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to develop community support for public education and for the students and teachers in the Wentzville School District. Established in 1999, the Foundation believes that education is critical to society, that teachers have the power to be catalysts for student success, and that our community can be an agent for positive change. Quality education requires:
- Family participation
- Strong leadership and vision
- Quality instruction
- Clear standards, assessment and accountability
- Adequate and equitable resources
- Community involvement
The Foundation is based upon the principle that public funds must be augmented in order for children to benefit from exceptional educational opportunities. To build and invigorate a strong foundation of support, the Foundation engages the community as an active resource for public education to:
- Provide an avenue for gifts from alumni, parents, staff and community stakeholders
- Enhance opportunities for teachers
- Develop a structure for funding designated projects
- Provide an opportunity for meaningful community involvement and partnerships
- Provide a conduit for student scholarship funds

Remember any donation is tax deductible, and the funds stay here in our community to help our students and teachers and to improve the quality of education. The Wentzville School District Foundation is a tax-exempt, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation established to raise funds through private donations, employee contributions, fundraisers, and other special events to support educational programs and projects, which are not within the budgetary guidelines of a school district.
