North Point High School's varsity cheerleading team is on a hot streak. After making the history books last year as the first team in NPHS history to capture a state championship, they returned this year and did it again, coming home as the back-to-back 4A Large Division state champions in the Missouri Cheerleading Coaches Association (MCCA).
The team started their state triumph by competing in the MCCA regional competition. They continued their competition season at the Missouri National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) regionals on Nov. 17 and will go on to compete at the NCA Nationals in Dallas, Tx, Feb. 28-Mar. 2, 2025.
Several members of the team were awarded individual all-state titles: senior flyer Cate Fromm, senior backspot Madison Deeker, senior tumbler Braelyn Mueller, junior flyer Claire Donley, and junior tumbler Ciara Stinson.
