The Wentzville School District’s Pearce Hall has received a $25,000 grant from Regions Bank to support Connections to Success.
The $25,000 grant will help fund the District’s Connections to Success program at Pearce Hall, which teaches students a variety of life skills that include resume building, interviewing, how to get promotions, and health plans and life plans. The program helps students get jobs, promote themselves and find additional opportunities in the career fields that they enjoy the most. Connections to Success is offered to a select group of seniors that attend Pearce Hall and is offered twice a week for the full semester.
In addition, the grant will help fund the expansion of Connections to Success to add a focus on the students' parents. Pearce Hall will offer the same opportunities for the parents that the students in Connections to Success receive while they are in the program. The goal is to not only focus on the student but the whole family.
“The Connections to Success Program has been so beneficial to many of our students at Pearce Hall,” shared Dr. Ben Hebisen, Director of Professional & Program Development. “We are excited and honored to receive this grant through our new partner in Regions Banks. Pearce Hall, Connections to Success, and Regions will continue to help students and families by giving them the opportunities and resources needed to be successful after high school and beyond.”
