Proposition C and S Passed by Voters
Proposition C and S were both passed by voters on June 2,2020, capturing 70.71% and 55.66% respectively. "As the fastest growing school district in the state, we are now well positioned to provide the necessary classroom space for all of our current and future students, we can hire additional staff to help meet the needs of those students and we can provide compensation to our outstanding employees that is commensurate with other local school districts," said Superintendent Dr. Curtis Cain. "This continues the great forward momentum of our District and will help to ensure that our students continue to achieve at the highest level. Thank you to everyone who assisted in the effort to inform our stakeholders and thank you to everyone who took the time to cast a vote yesterday. The passage of Propositions C and S would not have been possible without the time, talent and tenacity of the WSD staff, parents, and community and it is my pleasure and privilege to lead this exceptional District moving forward."
