THS Theatre Department Presents Little Shop of Horrors
The Timberland High School Theatre Department will present Howard Ashman’s “Little Shop of Horrors” on November 7, 8, and 9. This musical comedy will be performed by an all-school cast and crew.
At Mushnik’s Florist Shop, meek floral assistant Seymour (Kyle Rehme) buys and nourishes a Venus flytrap-like plant, which he names for his co-worker Audrey (Hallie Fisher). The plant, Audrey II (Matthew Ehlmann), ultimately grows big enough to devour everything in its path, including Audrey’s boyfriend Orin (Lucas Sweeney) and Mushnik (Quentin Simpson). As the play progresses, Seymour discovers Audrey II’s out of this world origins and intent towards global domination.
The ensemble cast includes Cecil Bailes, Olivia Barnard, Gus Barnett, Clarissa Bruegenhemke, Riley Clark, Connor Caravaggi, Anna Edwards, Rachel Ferrell, Emma Giltner, Emma Gorton, Anna Kimball, Jay Miles, Ava Panhorst, Nora Pryor, Madelyn Ratcliff, Kassidy Schmidt, Jacob Windham, and Ethan Zabenco.
The play is under the stage management of Carly Bohning, assisted by Alyssa Byington, Brenna Richards, and Katelyn Rushing and crew chiefs Josh Bentley, Anna Bessie, Jonathan Carney, Ian Couch, Sarah Hohenshell, Dan Vehige, Shelby White, and Quinn Zust. The performances will be held at the Carl E.
