Eight students from Timberland High School's (THS) industrial tech program competed in the Missouri Technology Education Association (MOTEAM) State Contest. MOTEAM is a competition designed to promote and improve scholarship, craftsmanship, and technology in industrial technology education and pre-engineering. 

All eight THS students received top ratings. This year, senior Maggie Nortrup received a perfect build score in the woodworking desktop division. Junior Nathan Brewer walked away as the State Grand Champion in the open division for models. Brewer is now the 7th State Grand Champion title holder for the THS industrial tech program, which is under the direction of industrial tech teacher Richard Brown.
