WSD Names Dr. Amy Neill as Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources & Operations

The Wentzville School District Board of Education has approved the hiring of Dr. Amy Neill as assistant superintendent of human resources and operations, effective July 1, 2025.

Dr. Neill brings more than 25 years of education experience to the district. She currently serves as human resources director of recruitment and retention in the Fort Zumwalt School District. She previously served as a principal, administrative intern, library media specialist, and elementary teacher in Fort Zumwalt.

She has a proven track record in talent acquisition, retention strategies, and comprehensive school improvement planning.

“I am honored and thrilled to join the Wentzville School District as the assistant superintendent of human resources,” said Dr. Neill. “With a deep commitment to education excellence, I look forward to collaborating with our dedicated staff to foster an environment where every employee can thrive and grow. I am excited to continue building upon WSD’s strong foundation to attract, develop, and retain our talented staff who shape the future of our students and community.”

Neill holds a Doctor of Education in educational leadership from Maryville University, an educational specialist degree and a master's degree in education from Lindenwood University, and a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Harris-Stowe State University.
