Holt Student Took on the FBLA National Stage This Summer

September 16, 2024

Kate Downey, a graduate of Holt High School, represented her school at the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) National Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida this July. She qualified for the national competition by placing third in Public Speaking at the Missouri State FBLA Competition.

During the conference, Kate competed against 120 students from across the United States and participated in various sessions and workshops focused on future FBLA leaders. While she didn't advance to the finals of the National competition, she enjoyed the opportunity and represented her (now) alma mater with pride.
