We are excited to announce that Wentzville Bands will be hosting a special event just for your child!
On April 18, from 6pm-9pm, we are hosting a 5th-grade Instrument Safari Night at Stone Creek Elementary. This event is open to all students going into 6th-grade for the 2019-2020 school year. We welcome all students to this event, even if your child has not selected band class as an elective next year. Your child will get to experience the instruments being offered in beginning band: flute, clarinet, cornet (like a trumpet), trombone and a limited number of xylophones. Students have the best success when joining band in their 6th-grade year, so be sure to come out and experience the Instrument Safari Night!
Please note, if your student has already signed up for band, this night will not determine what instrument they will play next year. Their band director will help them with the final selection process in the fall, and instrument rentals will take place at that time.
We look forward to seeing you at the Instrument Safari Night on April 18!
