Pre-K Enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year will begin in February:

• Feb. 9-13: Returning Pre-K families and WSD employees.
• Feb. 23: All Wentzville School District residents.

To enroll in our tuition-based preschool program, students must be 3 years old by July 31st of the year they are starting preschool.
In past years, families could choose their Early Childhood location. This year, your child’s Early Childhood site will be determined by your home address. Your address falls within an elementary school attendance boundary, and that boundary determines which Early Childhood location your child will attend. If you are unsure which elementary school serves your address, you can find it using the District’s interactive boundary map.

Barfield: Boone Trail, Crossroads, Discovery Ridge, Duello, Green Tree, Prairie View
Samuelson: Heritage, Journey, Lake View, Peine Ridge, Stone Creek, Wabash

All children who will turn five before Aug. 1, 2026, are eligible to attend kindergarten. To register your child for kindergarten, follow the steps below: 

• Complete a kindergarten developmental screening. If your child has already been screened at their preschool, daycare, or through Parents as Teachers, you can skip this step. If your child has not yet been screened, please fill out the online pre-developmental screening form. After submitting the form, you will be able to schedule an in-person screening appointment.
   
• Check your address with our boundary locator to see which elementary school your child will attend. Students must live within the district to be eligible for enrollment.

• Enroll online. Create an account and log in to the Wentzville School District Online Enrollment | Focus School Software Portal (our student information system) to complete the parent registration and student enrollment forms. If you prefer, you may download the Wentzville Schools (Focus) App (Apple App Store / Android App Store) and complete the enrollment process using the app (view app enrollment directions). Be prepared with the required items including proof of residency, immunization record, birth certificate, parent/guardian photo ID, and documentation regarding legal guardianship (if applicable).
