    • Art Club

      The objective of the LVE Art Club is to provide an extracurricular activity for those students who enjoy and/or excel in the visual arts area.  Activities include both individual and group projects that are not covered in the art curriculum.  The club meets before school.  

    • P.E. For LIfe Club

      would you like to learn more about Physical Education? Students will do a variety of Physical Education activities that could include: mat ball, basketball, soccer, cup stacking, kicking activities and much more. Many activities are new and are not done in regular P.E. classes.  Students must be ready to participate, follow directions and have responsible behavior. It is a fun club that gets kids moving!

    • Computer Club

      Computer club is a fun experience where students use various software programs to create animations, photo stories, and movies. As they create projects, students learn important planning strategies while also gaining a deeper understanding of the process of design.

    • Battle of the Books Club

      Battle of the Books is a reading incentive program designed for students in the 4th and 5th grades. It is sponsored by our librarian, Jenny Cook. The purpose of the program is to encourage students to read the Mark Twain Award Nominees selected by the Missouri Association of School Librarians. Students compete in “Battle Rounds” to display their knowledge of the books while displaying teamwork and good sportsmanship. The team even attends field trips to compete with other schools! Through the fun and excitement, students improve their reading skills, mature in their choices of reading materials and acquire a broader knowledge base.

    • Student Council

      This group of students with great character works together to help make Lakeview and our community a wonderful place! Throughout the year, student council will host fundraisers, promote recycling, get involved in the community, and promote school spirit! Within Student Council, there are also leadership roles such as President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer! The goal is to promote our amazing school in a positive way!

    • Girls On The Run Club

      Over a period of 10 weeks, girls in the 3rd through 5th grade participate in an after-school program like no other. Designed to allow every girl to recognize her inner strength, the Girls on the Run curriculum inspires girls to define their lives on their own terms. Physical activity is woven into our program to inspire an appreciation of fitness and to build habits that lead to a lifetime of health. At the end of each three-month session, the girls participate in a Girls on the Run 5k event.

    • Lion Pride Choir

      The Honor Choir is a group of outstanding student singers, with a focus on developing vocal skills such as breathing, vowel shape, dynamics, and blend. Cooperation is encouraged, resulting in a sense of community. Students learn how a choir rehearsal is set up in preparation for Middle School Choir and Band.
