Chautauqua

• Due to staffing limitations, some program sites are operating with waiting lists. Families will be contacted when openings occur.

• Registration for August will end on August 7th.  Registrations after that date will start September 1.

We have reached capacity for the Samuelson Early Childhood Program.  We will open registration again when more spots become available.

Please note that your child cannot be placed on a waiting list for the Chautauqua Program until you have completed your school registration and completed your information in Focus.  

The Chautauqua prices for the elementary program for the 26-27 school year are as follows:

• Tuition is based on the total number of school days in the student's academic calendar.

• Payments are divided into nine equal installments, with August prorated.

Multiple Child Discount

A 10% discount will be applied for each additional child, based on the lesser tuition amount.

Note: This discount does not apply to WSD staff or families who qualify for Free/Reduced Meals.

WSD Staff Discount

Wentzville School District employees who have a child enrolled in both the District and Chautauqua are eligible for a 20% discount off the base Chautauqua rate, per child.

• This discount excludes non-school days, late fees, and registration fees.

• The 10% additional child discount does not apply when this discount is used.

Free or Reduced Meal Discount

Families who qualify for free or reduced meals will receive a 20% discount off the base Chautauqua rate, per child.

• This discount excludes non-school days, late fees, and registration fees.

• The 10% additional child discount does not apply when this discount is used.

• A non-refundable $75 application fee per family is due at registration for new families only.

If you are making a change to your child's (or children's) Chautauqua schedule, you must fill out a Program Change Request, which is located through your account. A two-week notice must be given for any change requests. Please note that families are allowed only one change per month. If a two-week notice is NOT given, your account will be charged for the tuition that is owed.

If your child is on a rotating schedule, it is the parent's responsibility to provide the Chautauqua Office with a schedule at least two weeks in advance.  Schedules should be emailed to Christy Barnett at christinebarnett@wsdr4.org

If your family qualifies for Free/Reduced Lunches through our Child Nutrition Office, you will receive 20% off of your monthly tuition.

In cases of inclement weather, the Chautauqua Program will adhere to the following procedures:

If there is a delayed start to the school day, Chautauqua operates on a regular day's schedule.

If school is canceled due to inclement weather, Chautauqua is not in session.

If school is dismissed early, Chautauqua will provide care upon dismissal, depending on the weather forecast.  We will contact all aftercare families on that day with the procedures for the students enrolled in our program.

In the event that all after-school activities are canceled, that does not include the Chautauqua Program. However, we ask that parents arrive as soon as possible.

If you want to drop the program or make a change to your child's schedule, you must complete a request through your Eleyo Account 

Please note that students enrolled in before or aftercare on a full-time basis (4 or 5 days per week) are not assigned to a bus and, in accordance with district policy, are not permitted to ride one.
