Meet Mr. Holler
Hi my name is Doug Holler, and I proudly serve as the principal at Lakeview Elementary. I am a passionate, caring educator who works tirelessly to provide the very best education for all of our students.
I have been an educator for 20 years and have been an employee for the Wentzville School District for the past eleven years. I had the privilege of opening Lakeview Elementary as the principal in 2010 and have witnessed the growth and development of our amazing school community over the past eight years. Before serving as the principal at Lakeview Elementary, I served as the assistant principal at Heritage Primary School for three years. Previous to my Wentzville experience, I worked as an elementary teacher for nine years at the third, fourth and sixth grade level. I earned both my Master’s Degree in Elementary Education and Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Webster University. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Dayton in 1998.
I was born and raised in the St. Louis area. My wife, Emily, and I have been married for 19 years and live in Dardenne Prairie. We are blessed to have three amazing children, Olivia, 17, Isabella, 14 and Bode, 8. All of our children attended schools within the Wentzville School District. I am a huge sports fan. I love watching and supporting the Cardinals and the Blues! Some of my other hobbies include cooking, traveling, and playing golf.
