A Plus Schools

  • The Outstanding Schools Act of 1993 established the Missouri A+ tuition grant incentive for Missouri public secondary school demonstrating educational commitment through school programs designed to ensure:

    1. All students will graduate from high school;

    2. All students will complete a challenging selection of studies by satisfying the established learning expectations; and

    3. All students will proceed from high school graduation to college, or to vocational/technical training or to a job that provides opportunities for advanced skill development.

    The A+ Program provides scholarship funds to eligible graduates of A+ designated high schools who attend a participating public community college or vocational/technical school, or certain private two-year vocational/technical schools.
